Powerful Posses- Boost Your Confidence Level

boost-your-confidence-level

Body language can say a great deal more than the words we use. There are three main types of body language that you need to think about as part of your speaking and listening skills - eye contact, body position and gesture and movement.

Different types of body language

Body language is the most important aspect of face-to-face communication. Anything you say can be enhanced or undermined by how you sit or stand or how you move your eyes. If you look bored then the audience will be.
If your body language is right, they will already be persuaded that you are worth listening to.
There are some major types of body language:

  1. Eye contact
  2. Body position
  3. Gesture and Posture
  4. Facial Expressions
  5. Hand Shake
  6. Tone and pitch of voice
    Eye contact
Eye contact is vital. If you want someone to listen then you need to look at them - not for too long, of course, but enough to show you are addressing them and that they might want to listen.
  • triangle-technique
    triangle-technique
It is awkward staring into someone else’s eyes, Use this little trick: Draw an imaginary inverted triangle on the other person’s face around their eyes and mouth. During the conversation, change your gaze every 5 to 10 seconds from one point on the triangle to another. This will make you look interested and engrossed in the conversation.

  • Body position

You can tell by looking at someone whether they are excited, bored, relaxed or stressed. To get someone interested in what you're saying you need to look interested yourself.
  • body-position

    body-position

Example:  If you are role-playing a confident boss it may be right. If you're standing up you will need to hold your head up and have your arms open that way you can get the final aspects of body language right.
  • Gesture and Posture

Gesture and Posture are two most important forms of communication through our body language. These non-verbal communication forms include our facial expressions and eye movements.

  • Posture
    Posture
    posture

It is used to refer to the way a person stands or sits. One can have a relaxed posture or a tensed posture. The manner in which a person positions his body while speaking conveys a lot about his attitude. One can tell a lot about the social standing of a person by merely observing his posture.

    Gesture
    gesture
    gesture

Movement of hands or other body parts to convey a message is know as Gesture. For example, moving your hands to say hello or bye are some popular gestures universal in nature. Different cultures have unique signs and gestures that convey special meaning to them.

Basically to sum it up,• Gesture is a bodily movement while Posture is a manner of standing and sitting.• Gestures can be both intentional and unintentional but postures are mostly unintentional.• Hello and Goodbye are some easily identifiable gestures.• Posture can tell us whether a person is cool, relaxed or tensed.

  • How people sit or stand is noticeable, but what really emphasizes face-to-face conversation is how people use their expressions, heads, hands and shoulders to make a point or emphasis words.
  • Facial Expressions
    facial-expressions
    facial-expressions

  • Our faces are the most expressive part of our bodies. Facial expressions help set the emotional tone for a speech. In order to set a positive tone before you start speaking, briefly look at the audience and smile to communicate friendliness, openness, and confidence.

  • Beyond your opening and welcoming facial expressions, facial expressions communicate a range of emotions and can be used to infer personality traits and make judgments about a speaker’s credibility and competence. Facial expressions can communicate that a speaker is tired, excited, angry, confused, frustrated, sad, confident, smug, shy, or bored.

  • make sure your facial expressions are communicating an emotion, mood, or personality trait that you think your audience will view favorably, and that will help you achieve your speech goals.

Also make sure your facial expressions match the content of your speech.
For Example: #When delivering something light-hearted or humorous, a smile, bright eyes, and slightly raised eyebrows will non-verbally enhance your verbal message.

#When delivering something serious or somber, a furrowed brow, a tighter mouth, and even a slight head nod can enhance that message.

If your facial expressions and speech content are not consistent, your audience could become confused by the mixed messages, which could lead them to question your honesty and credibility.

   Handshake

handshake
handshake

A handshake is a customary greeting between two people. handshake is a only way to convey energy to the next. just remember that your way of Handshake is taking a major part to close or cancel your deal, so make it warmer and professional.

Types of Handshake,

Palm Vertical to the ground and extending your arm forward as though you were sawing wood with a hand saw. It sends a message of greetings, I am here for you as you for me. We are equals.
Better Tilt your hand slightly so that your palm is pointing to the sky. This subtle body language message is humility and that you are there to help and to serve.
Palm Up I am here to serve you. It can also indicate when first offered, submission or take charge.
Palm Down This is the authoritative position. You are in charge or in authority. You are there to take the lead, to take care of things, to get the job done. However it can also indicate a controlling personality.
Hand in Hand Typically your greeter will offer a hand palm up and before shaking starts the second hand sandwiches yours. Sometimes given to show empathy as with the loss of a loved one.
It is also given when wanting to demonstrate concern or to convey that you’re with a caring individual. It seems to be a favorite of politicians.

Let’s take a quick look at how to shake hands professionally:

    1. Introduce Yourself – Tell the person who you are before you reach out and shake their hands.
    2. Dry Hand If Necessary – If you have sweaty palms, air them out and wipe them down before you initiate the handshake.
    3. Initiate Appropriately – It’s almost always appropriate to initiate a handshake during a greeting. Never leave an extended hand hanging.
    4. Use The Correct Hand – Most people shake with their right hand, but be prepared to shake with your left hand if circumstances require that. Pay attention to your non-shaking hand. Keep it visible and open.
    5. Stand Up – Stand up out of respect for the person you are greeting.
    6. Make Eye Contact – Look a person in the eyes as you shake hands.
    7. Smile – A smile goes a long ways to establishing that you are a confident, friendly, genuine person.
    8. Grip Firmly – A firm and consistent grip is perfect. Too tight and you could injure the other person’s hand. Too weak and your handshake will feel like a dead fish.
    9. Pump 2-3 Times – Shake from the elbow 2 to 3 times.
    10. Time It For 3-4 Seconds – Don’t linger while shaking hands. Keep it short and sweet.
    11. Repeat Their Name – Saying something like “It’s great to meet you, Tom” during the handshake can help you remember their name later on.

Tone and Pitch of Voice,
When you are talking to a customer on the phone, please remember that the only thing they get from you is your voice. They don’t know what you look like, they don’t know what is going on around you, they don’t know what your workspace or workload looks like, from the verbal and non verbal signals they receive from you they will build up a picture in their own head.

When you are communicating face to face than also your pitch and tone will mark an impression of you to the next.

Modulate your voice.

Speak at a medium volume so that you can be heard, but are not shouting.

Avoid using slang words or casual greetings.

Use “hello” and “thank-you” rather than “hi” or “thanks”.

Smile before you begin,
Especially if you are on the telephone. Believe it or not, that smile will translate into your tone of voice and you will sound friendlier and might even feel friendlier.

Either record yourself speaking,
or have someone else listen and  track how many times you use filler words in your speech. (Filler words are words such as “like” or “um” or “right?” that don’t mean anything but fill gaps while you try to find the next words. Some of these will make you sound far less intelligent that you are!) Once you are aware of these words, you will notice them yourself and can then try to avoid using them. Habits can be hard to break, so this will take work.
Don’t end every sentence with a question mark. It makes you sound unsure of what you are talking about and can be extremely distracting for the listener.

Learn from good examples.
Listen to people around you, especially in business settings where there has been some communication training with regard to voice. Many people who work with the telephone on a regular basis have developed very professional quality voice skills, and sometimes just listening and emulating what you hear can be very helpful.

Three (3) Main Types of Communication
  1. Verbal Communication
  2. Nonverbal Communication
  3. Visual Communication

    Verbal Communication
Verbal communication seems like the most obvious of the different types of communication. It utilizes the spoken word, either face-to-face or remotely.

    Nonverbal Communication
These things are often communicated through facial expressions, hand gestures, posture and even appearance, all of which can convey something about the speaker. as we all discussed above.

    Visual Communication:

Visual types of communication include signs, maps or drawings as well as color or graphic design. These typically reinforce verbal communication, and they help to make a point.

All Three Communication are work together and if we use a perfect combo of all communications your Confidence Level will get a high boost.

The Importance of a Positive Attitude

the-importance-of-a-positive-attitude
the-importance-of-a-positive-attitude

A positive attitude is the guide to leading a positive life.  Maintaining a positive attitude through the ups and the downs is important to every aspect of life:
your social status, your work, your health and your relationships.

If you’re feeling down and having a particularly negative outlook on the way things are going, just remember that attitude is everything and a positive attitude will lead you out of the darkest of times.
"Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results."

#A positive attitude brings positive opportunities.
Positive people are easily approachable and more likeable than someone who is constantly looking at the negative side of things.  In terms of networking opportunities, you are more likely to meet uplifting and beneficial individuals if you have a winning attitude and positive presence about you.  A positive person is open to expanding their social circle to open the door to great opportunities.
#A positive attitude will help you quickly bounce back from a sickness.
Just as a support system improves the healing process, a positive attitude will work in the same ways to help you feel better faster.  Your attitude really does affect your health.
#A positive attitude makes your presence enjoyable.
People in your social circle, as well as professionals you are networking with, will be more inclined to spend time with you if you bring a positive attitude to the conversation.  People enjoy being in the presence of people who have the ability to lift them up when they are feeling down– be that person!
#A positive attitude will lead you to a successful life.
Everyone deals with setbacks at some point in their life, but it’s important to keep your eyes on the prize and keep trucking.  Hard work, high energy and a positive outlook will guide you towards great success, despite the challenges you meet along the way.
One thing that makes an incredible difference to your life is your attitude.

If a positive attitude can help you live longer what else can it help you to achieve?
The answer is – almost anything!
  • Your health
  • Your happiness
  • Your appearance
  • Your success
  • Your career
  • Your social life
  • Your confidence and self esteem
  • Your family
  • Your finances

Once you get a real idea of how you approach life – positively or negatively – then you can think about what needs to change.

  • Your Actions

One important thing you need to consider carefully is how your actions and behavior match your attitude. For example, if you believe you think negatively you need to not only change your attitude so you think more positively, you need to behave and act differently too. Just changing your attitude is not enough.
There are two choices open to you:
1. change your negative attitude and hope that will change the way you act
2. change how you act and hope that will change your attitude

  • Inner Conflicts and Fear

One thing you probably need to work on is the inner conflicts going on in your mind which come from fear and start you thinking negatively. These conflicts are going on all the time causing you to be in a prison of negativity.

  • What do you want to change?

You have it in your power to change many things in your life. Some things of course are beyond your control and you must accept those things and concentrate on the things you can change. Once you decide what needs to be changed you can start to think about what you need to do to make those changes.

  • Your Beliefs

One of the most powerful ways to do this is to use self hypnosis. This is guaranteed to work because this is the same process you use to learn beliefs in the first place. Makes sense to use the same system to unlearn something and replace it with something more positive and helpful. develop a robustly positive attitude that will catapult you to success and happiness.

  • Your Goals

Beliefs connected with your goals and make sure you consider what you think you deserve, if you are capable and if your goal right for you. Is your goal really possible and do you really want it? You must be fully committed to achieve your goals because the best ones require a lot of work.

  • Winning Thoughts

If you look at the beliefs and thoughts of champions and successful people you’ll see they all have very positive thoughts. To be a winner, you need to think like a winner. Here is a short list of some winning thoughts that all successful people have:
  • You can learn to be a winner
  • You can choose your beliefs
  • Failure doesn’t exist
  • Effort brings success
  • The only limit to your success and happiness is you
  • There is positive in everything

Negative attitude says: you cannot achieve success.
Positive attitude says: You can achieve success.

Is Bitcoin Safe and Legal ??

is-bitcoin-safe-and-legal
is-bitcoin-safe-and-legal

Every few months, we hear that bitcoin has been banned,
As early; I2013, bitcoin was "banned" by Thailand. In 2017, it was big news when China banned bitcoin and the latest news carries a ban by the Reserve Bank of India.

Bitcoin’s price last year was around 1,000$. right now, it is in the $9,000 range. This is in spite of the all the bans. This does not fit into any market logic. But that is the beauty of crypto currencies. They do not fit into traditional regulatory or banking framework.

so It is needed to understand how they work and why they were created in the first place.

DecentralizationThis is because bitcoin and most crypto currencies that run on Blockchain technology are decentralized. It means they do not run on one server or URL or IP address. These virtual currencies run on multiple nodes that can be owned and run by anyone and are usually spread across the globe. There is no central point for the governments to attack or block.

This is very similar to Torrent protocol. It is perso
n-to-person. look here, if you hold bitcoin in your wallet and transfer it to another one's wallet, there is no way any government can block it because this entry of transfer is recorded in a distributed log.

What has RBI done?If you read the RBI leaflet, they have never used the words "ban" for bitcoins just because it is not Possible.
It has only prevented that banks will have to stop deposits and withdrawals to and from Indian rupee on crypto cur
rency exchanges.

Apart from this, the RBI has issued several warnings about scams and risks related to crypto currencies. It had also said there would be a crackdown on the illegal use of such cryptos.

Some legal points are here that Why you should not invest in cryptocurrencies

#Extreme Volatility,
Investing in cryptocurrencies involves very high risk, as prices have been extremely volatile. Many experts are sceptical about bitcoin as an investment primarily because there is nothing for them to analyse.

#Neither Commodity, Nor Currency,
The lack of clarity about its origin is another big issue related to bitcoin. In olden days, highly priced metals like gold, silver, etc. were used as currencies. Then came currencies printed by governments (or central banks) and these are called ‘fiat currencies’.
Though its proponents claim that cryptocurrency is ‘mined’ using complex mathematical formulae, they are reluctant to call it a commodity.
They also claim that it is not controlled by any government and so, it is ‘democratic’. Therefore, cryptocurrencies don’t fall into the ‘currency’ category either.

#An unregulated space
Unlike other investment avenues, cryptocurrencies are not regulated by government entities or banks. “There is no authority like Sebi that you can approach for grievance redressal,”

“If we buy something with a credit card and get ripped off, we can call the bank and ask to be compensated. But if we get ripped off in a bitcoin transaction, it is impossible to get the money back.”

#The issue of legality
One major hurdle in the path of Indian investors who are interested in investing in cryptocurrency, is the confusion about its legal status. While they haven’t been declared illegal, cryptocurrencies are not recognised by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) or any other authority in India, as a ‘currency’. In December 2013, the RBI issued a press release cautioning users, holders and traders of virtual currencies, including bitcoins, about the potential financial, operational, legal, customer protection and security related risks.

"In its latest press release dated 1 February, 2017, the regulator has further stated that RBI added, that the user, holder, investor, trader, etc. dealing with virtual or digital currencies will be doing so at their own risk."

Ponzi schemes abound
Aside from the operational issues of trading in cryptocurrencies, there is also a high risk of fraud. There is still a good deal of misinformation and lack of clarity regarding bitcoin trading, and fraudsters have taken advantage of this to launch Ponzi schemes, which promise ‘guaranteed high returns’. Some companies claim to double the initial investment within a very short period of time. "beware of these unrealistic promises,”

"avoiding cryptocurrencies might be a smart move"

as incredible as cryptocurrencies have been, they come with an ever-growing list of risks and concerns. At the end of the day, investing in cryptocurrencies simply may not be worth the headaches they bring to the table.

Basics of Blockchain Technology

basics-of-blockchain-technology
basics-of-blockchain-technology

no asset has been a greater source of wealth creation than the stock market.

Cryptocurrencies came along and turned this traditional source of wealth creation on its head.

When 2017 began, the aggregate value of all digital currencies combined equaled just $17.7 billion. However, as recently, the combined market cap nearly was almost $836 billion. That better than 4,500% increase in value is something that the stock market would take multiple decades to accomplish.

What is blockchain technology?

Blockchain is the digital and decentralized ledger that records all transactions. Every time someone buys digital coins on a decentralized exchange, sells coins, transfers coins, or buys a good or service with virtual coins, a ledger records that transaction, often in an encrypted fashion, to protect it from cybercriminals. These transactions are also recorded and processed without a third-party provider, which is usually a bank.

Why was blockchain invented?
basics-of-blockchain-technology
basics-of-blockchain-technology

The main reason we even have this cryptocurrency and blockchain revolution is as a result of the perceived shortcomings of the traditional banking system.

For example, when transferring money to overseas markets, a payment could be delayed for days while a bank verifies it. Many would argue that financial institutions shouldn't tie up cross-border payments and funds for such an extensive amount of time.Blockchain developers want the ability to process payments without a need for this middleman.

How are blockchain transactions validated?

There are two primary ways that transactions on blockchain are validated: proof-of-work (PoW) and proof-of-stake (PoS).

Bitcoin runs on the PoW model. What happens with PoW is that cryptocurrency miners (a fancy term for people with really high-powered computers) compete against one another to solve complex mathematical equations that are a result of the encryption protecting transactions on a blockchain network. The first miner to solve these equations, and in the process validate a block of transactions, receives what's known as a "block reward." For bitcoin, a block reward is paid as a fraction of digital bitcoin.
The other primary validation method is PoS. Rather than using a ton of electricity in a competition to solve equations, the PoS method awards the owners of virtual coins the opportunity to validate transactions in a deterministic fashion. In even plainer terms, the more coins you own of a virtual currency operating on the PoS model, the more likely you are to be chosen to validate blocks and add to the blockchain.
It's worth pointing out that while the PoW method hands out block rewards as virtual coins, the PoS model rewards its stakeholders with the transaction fees paid by the users of the block that's being verified.

Is blockchain public or private?

basics-of-blockchain-technology
basics-of-blockchain-technology

One of the greatest aspects of blockchain technology is the ability for a developer or business to customize it. This means a blockchain can be completely open to the public and allow anyone to join, or it can be totally private, with only certain folks allowed access to the data, or allowed to send and receive payments. Bitcoin is an example of an open-source public blockchain that allows anyone to join, whereas a private blockchain would be perfect for a corporate customer.

Is blockchain viable on a larger scale?

you're probably wondering how viable blockchain is. The honest answer is, "no one knows".

Lastly, you're most folks don't understand the basics of cryptocurrencies, or the blockchain technology that underlies them. probably wondering how viable blockchain is. The honest answer is, "no one knows."
